Whitby Squadron recently saw the Cadets work as part of teams to complete a quiz on Shrove Tuesday (Pancake day).
Cadets raced each other to complete the quiz, to gain their ingredients to begin cooking their own pancakes.
Plenty of pancakes were made with a variety of toppings which includes chocolate spread and lemon juice.
Some pancakes were more successful than others, while even mastered the art of flipping get a pancake. No easy task using a Trangia cooking stove and pan.
