The Air Operations Acquaintance Centre (AOAC) has a simple objective;

‘To provide cadets with a practical understanding of operational combat flying’

This facility is a North Region asset, based in Harris Block at RAF Linton on Ouse, and is operated by a small dedicated team of CFAV who give their time in addition to their Squadron duties. Our future aspirations include the development of the AOAC to deliver more courses and increasing the cadet numbers that go through. Unfortunately as we all know too well, we rely on the volunteer and it is clear that the AOAC team needs to expand. We are therefore looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help develop this excellent facility.

As such, an open invite to any interested staff who would like to come and visit the AOAC to see it in operation and perhaps explore how they could join the team has been extended.

The AOAC will be open to any CFAV and Staff cadets on Sunday 16th July from 10:00hrs to 14:00hrs.

If you are interested please contact Flt Lt Lovett who is OC AOAC on raccoord.north@aircadets.org who can provide more information and arrange access to the Station.
